At Albany Airport, passengers experienced rerouted flights and long waits at car rental counters.

“So I got on the flight and I was watching a movie. They didn’t have any entertainment. I was watching it with earbuds,” Susan Ball said. “And we landed and I texted my wife. We landed and then all of a sudden, I heard somebody say Albany. And so I sad a bad word. We’re in Albany. We’re not in Westchester Airport.”

“And because of everything that was going on with the weather in Atlanta, our first flight was delayed, which gave us a 15 minute layover in Atlanta, which we had to sprint to the gate to try to make,” Madison Clum said. “From Terminal A to Terminal C. It doesn’t really make sense, Delta. Considering we only had 15 minutes to get between two terminals.”

“I’m beginning to wonder if global — or global weirding as I like to call it — may make air travel less and less feasible for the general population,” Ball added. “I mean if you’re going to have a huge pain every time you’re going to go somewhere, is it really the reasonable way to go?”
