Chrishell Stause announces split from G Flip after 4 years together
Chrishell Stause and G Flip are going their separate ways after four years of together.
The "Selling Sunset" alum, 45, shared the "humbling update" in a tearful video posted to her Instagram Monday, Oct. 26, noting she still is still in love with the Australian singer, 33.
"G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other," Stause said. "That's not hard for me because I am in love with this person, and I don't have all the information or the reasons. I'm sure, just like always with time, you get the lessons you're meant to to get. And I know that will happen, and I'm gonna heal, and everything's gonna be fine. We're definitely never doing this again."
Stause, who married G Flip in a secret Las Vegas ceremony in 2023 after one year of dating, continued, "I just felt like you guys deserved a little bit more than a cold written statement because you have been so supportive and so loving, and I really appreciate that. Maybe you know you can still do that, but it would have to be separately."

Chrishell Stause and G Flip attend the premiere of Focus Features' "Girls Like Girls" on June 15, 2026, in Los Angeles.
Admitting she feels "like a little bit of a failure," the actress said she has been hard on herself throughout this experience.
"There's nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself. So I just have to kind of heal and figure this out," Stause added. "It's hard. It's painful. I'm a lover girl. I swing big. I miss – or maybe I don't miss. Maybe these are the lives and seasons you're meant to have with people, and I had an amazing over four years with G. So maybe maybe that's not a miss."

Stause explained she is "coming to terms with it being a different ending than you had imagined" and doesn't "know what I hope for myself" going forward.
"It's really hard and stressful to share this information because I'm kind of going through it. But I will always love G, and I don't ever really see that changing. And this sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I wish that for both of us," she concluded.
G Flip addressed the breakup in their own Instagram statement, writing, "After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no longer together. I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply❤️ My head & heart are feeling very heavy right now and I'm not able to talk but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time."
Chrishell Stause, G Flip relationship timeline
The former couple first met on Halloween 2021, while Stause was dating her "Selling Sunset" costar and boss Jason Oppenheim, and G Flip was also dating someone else. They later reconnected, and Stause confirmed the romance during a reunion special for the Netflix series that aired in May 2022.
"I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that's very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They're non-binary, so they go by they/them," Stause said at the time. "And they are an extremely talented musician."
In May 2023, they tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony, revealing the special day with an Instagram video featuring a clip of them at the altar. G Flip's song "Be Your Man," which is dedicated to Stause, played in the background of the post.
"Love doesn't always go as planned… Sometimes it's immeasurably better," Stause wrote in the caption. "If you ever get the pleasure of meeting G, know that you are meeting one of the kindest, funniest & most talented hard working people out there. Please go stream! I love you so much @gflip ❤️🔥."
Later that month, G Flip told People, "It was probably the best day of my life, and we had so much fun, and it was just super beautiful and super cute.
"It'll forever be one of the greatest memories of my life," they added.
