Flooding threat: Afternoon storms move in, bringing flooding concerns to Greater Cincinnati

CINCINNATI —

We aren’t done with the torrential rain yet.

The good news is at least we have some dry weather Thursday.

There’s fog around Thursday morning and we should be rain-free until mid-afternoon. The next complex of downpours will be moving in after school and for evening activities and, of course, the Bengals' first preseason game.

Plan on the late-afternoon rain/storms to be scattered, then more numerous in the evening and overnight.

Downpours and storms will continue into the first half, at least, of Friday. We're anticipating more heavy rain training over the same areas. That means we’re looking at an additional 2-4" of rain!

The flooding threat continues, or worsens for the places in Indiana that were already inundated yesterday.

The weekend will be dry! However, it will be hot and humid, feeling like 100.
