The Georgia Bulldogs (5-0) and the Alabama Crimson Tide (5-0) game has generated huge headlines all week. There might not be another game being talked about more this week than the contest between the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide.

However, one topic is receiving more attention than the big game and rightfully so. Hurricane Isaias made landfall in the Florida Panhandle Friday night and continues to affect Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Obviously more important things are on the line than the Georgia-Alabama contest, but here is the latest update on the weather in Tuscaloosa for the game.

According to The Weather Channel, the forecast for Saturday's game looks fairly calm. Rainfall is expected throughout the morning well ahead of the 7:30 p.m. kickoff. Light rain is expected throughout the game, specifically in the second half of the game but nothing heavy is forecast. Winds are expected to stay around 10 miles per hour.

Hurricane Isaias reached Category 3 intensity on Friday before making landfall.

Though the biggest challenge may be the remnants of Hurricane Isaias, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide will face big challenges when they line up across one another. Both teams are 5-0 (3-0 SEC). This game will certainly be a huge win for whichever team comes out on top, and it will likely carry a great deal of weight when it comes to the teams playing in the SEC championship game.

These two teams are in contention for a spot in the SEC title game, and one will be in the driver's seat.

Georgia will look to get a streak going in this series while Alabama will try to gain a measure of revenge for last season's SEC champion game, which Georgia won 28-7 on Dec. 6, 2025. Both teams are playing at a high level and both are going to deliver blows throughout the game. You can expect a loud and hostile atmosphere in Bryant-Denny as the action takes place on Saban Field. Expect both fan bases to be rocking in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night.
